# Brewfather

Brewfather is a beer brewing system. Here, you'll find all the tools for your brewing process, along with an archive of the batches you've created. You can find the link to [Brewfather here](https://brewfather.app). By integrating Brewfather with Bar Helper, you'll have the ability to look up batches you've brewed and easily register them in Bar Helper with a simple keystroke.

1. Press "Settings"
2. Press "Brewfather"

1. In order to use Brewfather, you need to fill out your User Id Please note that this is not your email address.
2. Here, you enter the API Key from Brewfather.

1. To find the User Id and API Keg, you need to log in to [Brewfather](https://web.brewfather.app/) and retrieve this information.
2. Here, you enter the **API Key** from Brewfather.

1. After clicking on "Generate," you copy the User Id.
2. Press "**Generate**" where, for me, there is a trash can icon.

1. **User Id:** Fill in the user Id that you copied from Brewfather.
2. **API Key**: Enter the key you copied from Brewfather after generating a key.
3. Press "Verify" to confirm that your data is correct.

1. After clicking on **Verify**, you will receive a green indicator confirming that everything is okay. ✅

1. To use Brewfather, you go to Inventory -> Beer -> (+) to add a new Beverage
2. All the way in top right there is an icon of Brewfather. If you press this, you will get to the Brewfather integration.
